Stage Door California's mission is to become a centralized place where the community can come to find performances, auditions, crew positions, news, workshops and more!  We want to partner with theatre companies, dance studios, educational institutions and artists to help them promote their programing and keep the arts alive in the community.

WHAT THE SITE OFFERS:

NEWS - The News section will feature press releases, cast announcements, articles, interviews, promotional articles and reviews for shows throughout Northern California.

WHAT'S PLAYING? - The "What's Playing?" section will have a calendar that includes shows from theatre companies, dance studios and other performing arts events.  The intention is so that the community can come and see what is playing at what theatre at any given time.  This section will also include Featured Productions.  This area will be for companies to boost their visibility on the calendar and will highlight their show(s).  This part will be limited to a few shows at a time.

AUDITIONS - The Auditions section will include news posts that relate to auditions as well as a master audition calendar.  This is meant to be a place where performers can easily see and access the audition information for as many shows as possible - all in one place.

BACKSTAGE - The Backstage section will include job postings and crew openings for companies as well as areas where people can post things for sale, offer things for free and an area where people can post about things that  they are in need of for an upcoming project.

DIRECTORY - The Directory section will include information for theatre companies and other performing arts groups.  So the community can easily find contact information and websites for groups in their area.

AWARDS - The Awards section will include information about the Stage Door Ovation Awards.   This program will be launched in the future and Stage Door will award excellence in the arts.  

JOIN US - The Join Us section will include information about how to join the Stage Door team as a writer, reviewer or adjudicator

COURSES - The Courses section will include online classes that the community can engage in to learn more about theatre and the performing arts.
